‘Project Feed The Future’ Targets 450 Street Kids

‘Project Feed The Future’, a charitable initiative of Forge Consulting Limited Ghana, has targeted 450 street children for this year’s donation exercise in Accra, set for December 24, 2023.

Known as the leading consulting organisation in Ghana’s hospitality industry, the supply of 450 welfare packages and an increase from 350 last year, affirms the firm’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which aims at supporting the less privileged in society.

Director at Forge Consulting Limited Ghana, Flow Ama Nyarkoa, said this year’s donation exercise marks the project’s five years, which informed management’s decision to increase the number of welfare packages supplied to children on the streets.

She added that since its inception in 2018, the charitable initiatives have helped provide items such as food, water, juice, clothes and toiletries, including sanitary pads.

“The welfare of street children is very dear to Forge Consulting Limited because they experience high levels of stigma. Many street-connected children are harmed daily by adults, and are also sent into the streets to beg and steal.

“Children are the future. Those on the streets today could be running our country tomorrow, hence the need for every Ghanaian to seek their welfare,” she said.

Ms. Flow also called for support from benevolent individuals and organisations to make this year’s charity program successful.  “We’re aiming for 450 packages this year. We accept donations of clothes, food items and cash,” she added.
