One of Ghana’s biggest cultural nights is set to shine even brighter as Rhythms On Da Runway celebrates its 15th anniversary with The Black Star Edition.
The milestone event comes off on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Christiansborg Castle in Accra at 6pm.
For 15 years, Rhythms On Da Runway has championed African fashion, music, and storytelling, amplifying creatives and projecting Ghana’s Black Star spirit to the world.
CEO Shirley Emma Tibilla (Cookie Tee) says this year’s edition is a tribute to the journey so far: “Fifteen years of Rhythms On Da Runway is a celebration of Ghana, of Africa, and of every creative who has poured their talent into this platform. The Black Star Edition is our homage to the culture that inspires us.”
This year’s runway will feature top designers from Ghana and across the continent, including Nineteen57, Masantewaa Emporium, Kokude, Sara Erraissi (Morocco), Jay Ray Ghartey, Marie Kaba (Mali), Paon, SHMBK (Zimbabwe), Cacao/Chocolate, Lempoche Couture, and Tribal Sportswear—a lineup poised to deliver bold, unforgettable fashion moments.
Beyond the runway, guests can expect a full cultural immersion: a vibrant red carpet, rich African ambience, curated networking spaces, premium hospitality, and a visually striking blend of music, fashion and storytelling.
The stage will feature performances from King Promise, Kwabena Kwabena, Gyakie, Maya Blu, Kwaw Kese, Nacee, and Oheneba Kissi, offering a dynamic mix of contemporary hits, highlife favourites and soulful live music.
This year’s edition will also recognise African excellence with the prestigious Black Star Awards, honouring Nora Bannerman, Amakye Dede, Efya Awindor, and Idris Elba for their enduring impact on fashion, culture and creative arts.
Produced by Nineteen57 Events, Rhythms On Da Runway continues to stand tall as one of Africa’s premier fashion–music showcases—hailed by the BBC as “Africa’s biggest cultural exposé.”
