Music icon, Rocky Dawuni is anticipated to thrill music fans with some impressive performance as he is scheduled to celebrate his recent Grammy nomination with a big concert in Accra next weekend.
This is slated for Saturday, December 11, 2021, at +233 Jazz Bar & Grill in Accra.
The Afro-roots musician is among some world branded musicians who got nominated for the 64th edition of the Grammy awards.
He got the nod in the Best Global Music Album category with his “Voice of Bunbon Vol. 1” EP and is competing with works of other international acts like Daniel Ho & Friends, Angelique Kidjo, Femi Kuti, and Wizkid.
The nomination is Rocky’s second Grammy nod after his sixth studio album titled Branches of The Same Tree was nominated for Grammys Best Reggae Album in December 2015 for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
He will be celebrating the Grammy success with the fans on Saturday. The ceremony is targeted at attracting several showbiz personalities and some other dignitaries.
Rocky will be playing with his full 10-piece band and showing the world why he is one of the huge pillars of Ghanaian music to the world.
