The Rotary Club of Takoradi-Anaji in the Western Region is embarking on an initiative to help educate the public and address the declining moral issues in the society.

To this end, the club has erected billboards around Fijai to teach the public on ‘Four-Way Test’ helping to build the society.

The Takoradi-Anaji Charter President of the club, Isaac Osabu Anang said that “the Four-Way Test talks about whether what we say, think or do will be beneficial to all, or is it the truth, fair, will it help build goodwill and better relationships and whether it will be beneficial to all,” adding that “the four-way test is used by Rotarians world-wide as a moral code for personal and business relationships.”

He said “the four-way test when observed, will not only address the declining moral issues in our society, but would help individuals better their lives.”

A Past Assistant Governor (PAG) of Rotary, Eugene Ofori-Atta, said the most important pillar on which Rotary is rooted is the undertaking of service projects for the benefit of vulnerable communities.

He added that every new club, like the Rotary Club of Takoradi-Anaji, is entreated to embark on a first service project upon the receipt of their charter and they are determined to initiate projects that will support the people.

“It is refreshing to note that the new club has heeded to this call and begun its journey on a sound footing,” he said, adding that “this project put the institution of Rotary in a positive light because it is strategically positioned.”
