Ruth Adjei Is GYEA 2023 Gospel Artiste

Female Ghanaian gospel musician, Ruth Adjei, has won the Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Youth Empowerment Awards (GYEA) held last Saturday in Accra.

In addition to the Artiste of the Year award, the gospel musician who has indeed proven beyond all reasonable doubts to her numerous fans that she really has come to stay also took home the Global Tiktok award.

Ruth Adjei, at the maiden edition of the awards ceremony took home the Discovery of the Year award.

Accepting her awards, the gospel singer said she was grateful to God, her team and fans for the support throughout her career.

She expressed gratitude to the Church of Pentecost for the training and mentoring which she said has contributed to her success as a musician.

The gospel musician, who joined the gospel music industry some years back, started as backing vocalist for a number of gospel artistes such as Joe Mettle, Hannah Marfo, Gifty Osei, Francis Adjei, Ceccy Twum, SP Kofi Sarpong among others.
