Same Sex Marriage: To Accept Or Not To Accept

When the mind is at peace, the body finds time to fall sick, so says Amu Djoleto the author of the Strange Man. Can I also say that when a people’s material and physical needs have been met, they find time to discuss and engage in unnatural carnal pleasures repugnant to even dogs? May be yes, may be no. But why would aside all the human rights abuses on the globe, leaders of the Western World would want every nation to surrender to the concept of Gay Rights?

For me, one of the most abhorring human rights abuses in my part of the world is the way prisoners and suspects are treated in our Prison Yards. It is so inhumane to park our brothers and sisters who have fallen foul of the law like sardines in the manner we do when they are in the hands of the State. Their fundamental rights to be treated with respect, even as their freedoms and liberties are curtailed, are so bizarre.

They are not properly fed, they are not rehabilitated, and they are not considered as human beings among others. In fact, all over Africa and the developing world, prisoners would have been better off when shot and killed than being alive in the conditions they find themselves. That is why when they come out of the prisons, they become more violent than how they were before they were sent there.

My first problem is why are some leaders of the developed world so insistent on the Gay Rights as against preaching against maltreatment of prisoners for example? Hmm, you see, when people do not know who they are, their lives and roles in the scheme of things are defined for them, and not just that, they are confined to the status that has been defined for them.

Africans are today crying their voices hoarse because our former white masters are telling us to do the unnatural thing of same sex marriage. When they destroyed what we had and how we are in the name of civilization, did we not embrace what they brought to us without questioning? Today, our men and women of God, both genuine and fake see many of our traditional and natural ways of life as fetish. Yes, because the white man said so.

Africans are traditionally polygamous in marriage and there was indeed no problem with it. Let me state that I have never married two women at the same time before, it is not because the white man says it is bad but for economic reasons. The days of yore, there was peace and harmony in polygamous homes, the men and women worked very hard on the fields and they all lived peacefully together. Today, there are more problems in single marriage homes than polygamous ones.

We have bought the propaganda against polygamy and it virtually has become law, unwritten though, such that a polygamous man has no recognizable role in the church no matter how dedicated to his God he might be. Our men and women of God dress in the code fashioned by the white man. Our clothes are anathema to their kind of religion. Many things the white man said were wrong about us were swallowed line, hook and sinker. We lost our minds, and everything and anything African, was virtually shunned by us just because the God of the white man said they were bad. Animals naturally are polygamous, take a look at your male dog and see how many female gods it has mated with.

Today, the same man comes to say let your female children get married to themselves and the males get married to themselves, that one you are crying mme, mme, mme.  If you do not know who you are, someone will define you and confine you to his definition of who you should be. What annoys me in all these is the fact that those leaders who are virtually blackmailing us to legalize this unnatural behavior even the animal kingdom will fight against, have not given us examples of themselves.

While they are evening criminalizing polygamy, they are sleeping with young women all around at the blind side of their wives. Have you followed recent events in the USA and the UK where highly placed public officials have had to resign because of such extra marital sexual escapades? Someone lost an election in Arizona because of extra marital sexual relations. President Trump is on the frontline for some sexual impropriety. If they had two legitimate wives, sleeping with them would not be a crime. Hypocrites!

Dear reader, did you watch the visit of the President of France to the United States of America? When the two Presidents, Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron addressed the media and the wives were standing by, I said to myself, these people, they don’t have tastes at all. What? Come to Ghana or Africa and see the wives of our Presidents.

Let us look at the First Ladies of our Presidents in this Fourth Republic. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings was very cute but not fat. She is not the ‘ bawee’ type of cute women around, she is smart and can wriggle her body as and when the occasion demands, she makes people envy cuteness.  Mrs. Naadu Atta-Mills has the physical properties of an ideal woman for the First Ladyship. Mrs. Theresa Kufuor, the wife of President Kufuor is a woman, yes a real woman. Enough flesh on her body, both the front and behind are well taken care of. I am sure the old man took solace and succuor in her bosom in times of stress.

Eei, as for President Mahama, whaaaaat! His selection is superb. Excellent shock absorbers, the bumper is good and solid enough to ward off any infiltrators. The nature of the fenders can only be described by President Mahama himself. I hear he does not tolerate ‘fiangle fiangle’ girls at all, at all. And Aunty Rebecca? Aah, a woman with stability. She is vertically correct, she does not suffer any width nor breadth disadvantages. She can win any physical competition organized for First Ladies the world over. Her physique can be described as a tower behind President Akufo Addo and not just a woman behind a successful man.

Who is Theresa May’s husband? Because they cannot have solid women for wives, they are preaching gay.  We have more than enough pretty and fleshy ladies to marry. We should also critically analyze what the white man tells the black man to do. The attack on polygamy for me was to control population growth since polygamous men could deliver more children in a year than non-polygamous men.

That effort to curb population growth perhaps did not work so they want the next generation to engage in same sex marriage to reduce global population since it is naturally impossible for two women to produce children just as two males cannot produce children. If the so called proponents of human rights of same sex marriages mean well, why would they not allow people who want to lead polygamous lives, which are natural, the right to do that and consider them as human rights as well?

Now to the political football that is going on in this country as if President Akufo Addo has consented to the same sex marriage propositions by the Western world and their media agents. For any one or the leaders of any group to create the impression that the President supports or has accepted to legalize that filthy policy is not fair to the President. What I also think the President must do is to state unequivocally not his position on the matter but the position of Ghanaians on the matter. #SAY NO TO SAME SEX MARRIAGE and let us starve.

The late President Atta-Mills was also not straight forward when the issue came during his tenure. His response was that he would not assent to any bill from Parliament to him on the matter. Who was going to send such a Bill to Parliament anyway? Leaders must be straight forward on some of these issues in their own interest and let the world know what our positions are.

Three tots, Daavi
