The Minister of Sanitation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, is expected to lead a clean up exercise in Accra and Kumasi.
The exercise is scheduled for Friday, April 3, to Sunday, April 5, 2020.
It will be carried out in collaboration with the Metropolitan and Municipal Assemblies as well as the Environmental Service Providers Association led by Zoomlion Ghana Limited.
The exercise, according to the Ministry, is to take advantage of the two weeks partial lockdown of Accra and Kumasi, to effectively clean Accra.
The exercise, the Sanitation Ministry noted in a statement, would focus on desilting of all gutters, lorry parks, emptying of street litter bins.
