Shatta Wale Featured In GES-Approved Creative Arts Textbook

Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has been featured in a GES-approved Creative Arts textbook, published by Alpha & Omega Series for Primary 4 pupils.

This follows his recent major feature with American superstar Beyoncé, which endeared him to myriad of music fans worldwide.

The dancehall artiste has been captured in lesson four of the textbook which describes him in a short biography.

The page talks about his date of birth, his most popular song ‘Dancehall King’, through which he became famous.

The book also explains to schoolchildren how the musician changed his name from Bandana to his current name.

The pupils are then asked to sing and dance to one of his songs at the latter part of the lesson.

This is arguably the first time a musician has been featured in a national textbook in recent times.
