Shatta Wale Fights John Mahama’s Second Term Agenda

Shatta Wale

Controversial dancehall act, Shatta Wale has allegedly said Ghanaians will regret it, should they dare vote ex-president John Mahama back to power.

This is because he has nothing different to offer. Ghanaians will rather suffer than they are suffering today.

The former president is currently seeking to return to power for a second term, after losing the presidency to Akufo- Addo in the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections.

He is tipped to win the 2024 presidential elections when Akufo ends his 8-year tenure.

But Shatta seems to agree with persons who are saying Mahama should step aside and allow a different candidate to lead the National Democratic Congress against a fresh presidential candidate from the New Patriotic Party.

“Make Mahama come you go clap your hands. Mahama he reads Ghana people, you go clap your hands cos we just no want learn. If Akufo-Addo says he no go see top anymore, the next person we have…that is how the country has been, if it’s not Mahama it is Akufo-Addo. Ibi like Black Stars and Brazil. It’s like football if Asamoah Gyan doesn’t play Dede Ayew will play,” he reportedly said in pidgin English about Mahama’s bid.

Shatta is currently promoting his latest single, One God. He released a video for the new song last week and it’s receiving a lot of attention online.

Early Tuesday he has taken swipes at Sarkodie and Stonebwoy fans who have been coming at him.
