Nominations for the 2019 edition Ghana Event Awards are out, and some top showbiz events and personalities have made the list.
Among them are 3 Music Awards, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Women In Worship, EMY Awards, among others gained nominations.
Top entertainers? Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Patapaa, Shatta Wale, Kidi, Wendy Shay, Joe Mettle, Samini, Medikal, DKB and Efya? are all competing for event entertainer of the year category.
Govanni Caleb, Abeiku Santana, Nathaniel Attoh, Bernard Avle, Kabute de MC, Kojo Manuel and Lexis Bill are also competing for the event male MC of the year.
The biggest event awards show was officially launched at the Silver Star Towers in Accra last Friday ahead of the main event, which is scheduled for August 30 from 7:00pm, also at the Silver Star Towers.
The stars-studded launch event was full of glitz and glamour, as it was attended by a number of event personalities.
The 2019 Ghana Event Awards is sponsored by XO Travels and Rackus Productions, with support from the Silver Star Towers, Alomo Bitters and CD Beer.
The rest of the supporting companies include Honora’s perfumes Pinkberry, Hillbill Shoes, Nii Photographer, Wonder Wings, Silverbird Cinemas, Asantewaa Modeling Agency, Multiple Quest and Mr. Candy.
