Sarki Mutawalle being turbaned
Sowutuom witnessed a colourful and historic traditional ceremony as Sarki Osman Abdallah Mutawalle was officially installed as the Hausa Chief of Sowutuom and its surrounding communities.
The coronation ceremony was performed by the National Chief Imam, Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, who led the traditional and religious proceedings of installation of Sarki Osman Abdallah Mutawalle to the chieftaincy position.
The event brought together leaders, chiefs, community elders, family members, friends, and well-wishers, who gathered to witness the occasion. The ceremony featured maulid celebration, cultural displays, and prayers.
Members of the community expressed their joy and support for the newly installed chief, describing Sarki Mutawalle as calm, respectful and peaceful person, and also described the occasion as a significant moment for unity and cultural preservation.
In his remarks, Sarki Osman Abdallah Mutawalle thanked the elders, chiefs, leaders, and the entire community for the confidence placed in him. He pledged to serve with commitment, promote peace, strengthen unity, as well as contribute to the progress of Sowutuom and its surrounding communities.
The ceremony ended with warm congratulations and goodwill messages from attendees, who wished the new Hausa Chief wisdom and success in his leadership role.
