Speed Darlington and Burna Boy
Controversial Nigerian musician, Speed Darlington, has threatened to physically confront fellow artiste, Burna Boy, whenever they meet.
Speed Darlington, speaking in an interview with Yanga FM Lagos, said he has no relationship with the Grammy-winning musician and would not hesitate to fight him.
The “Akpi” hitmaker also expressed hopes of facing Burna Boy in the boxing ring if he defeats comedian and content creator Carter Efe in their upcoming bout.
“Me and Burna Boy have no relationship. If Burna Boy enters any room that I am present in, I will fight and jump on him,” he said.
He added, “If I win the forthcoming boxing match between me and Carter Efe, I hope Burna Boy will be next.”
The latest comments come amid an ongoing legal dispute between the two musicians.
Speed Darlington was previously remanded in custody over allegations of defamation against Burna Boy before being granted bail. The case is still before the court.
Their feud dates back to allegations made by Speed Darlington concerning Burna Boy and embattled American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Speed Darlington had alleged that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with Diddy in exchange for his Grammy award, claims that triggered the legal dispute between the two artistes.
