Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has expressed sympathy following the cancellation of Shatta Wale’s ShattaFest UK concert after a stampede outside the event venue in London.
In a post shared on his X page on August 1, 2026, Stonebwoy said the incident was a sad moment for everyone involved in promoting Ghanaian music.
“This is definitely not the kind of news any event organiser, artist, fan or promoter of the Ghana music agenda wants to hear. Our hearts go out to all those affected,” he wrote.
His reaction comes after Shatta Wale’s management confirmed that ShattaFest UK had been cancelled following a serious incident outside the venue.
According to reports, police stopped the event at Copthall Playing Fields after severe overcrowding at one of the entrances led to a crowd crush. Several people were reportedly injured during the incident.
