FOUNDER and Executive Chairman of the Svani Group Limited, a leading automobile company, Thomas Svanikier, has donated a pickup to the Rainbow Trust Foundation.
The move is aimed at assisting the non-governmental organization to distribute books and other learning materials to deprived schools and children across Ghana.
A statement issued to DAILY GUIDE on the donation said the Foundation “partners other bodies like Bookaid International, UK, with the sole aim of providing books and academic materials to underprivileged schools and children.”
It added that “they are also into setting up mobile libraries in communities as well as school-based libraries all over the country”.
The statement described Mr. Svanikier, who made the donation recently in Accra, as a leading Ghanaian entrepreneur, industrialist, and philanthropist.
