The Unemployed Graduates Association of Ghana has expressed appreciation to President Akufo-Addo for his government’s response to the perennial problem of graduate unemployment in the country.
The Group, in a statement said President Akufo-Addo’s launch of the Nation Builders Corps(NABCo) will bring a tremendous relief to most of them.
The statement added:”We see this initiative as the first ever major national policy by a government in about 8 years ago to tackle graduate unemployment and therefore we see it as a way of rendering our association redundant henceforth.”
The Release by the group comes on the heels of President Akufo-Addo’s launch of the Nation’s Builders Corps at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi on Tuesday May 1.
