The World Health Organization (WHO) has disclosed that a third wave of coronavirus is on the rise across Africa.
In its latest report on the pandemic, the Health Organization said Africa was recording a 20 percent week-on-week rise in the number of covid19 cases.
The report comes as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia and Uganda reported their highest number of new weekly cases since the beginning of the pandemic.
DGN Online gathered from local media reports in Uganda that Ugandans have been running to their villages for herbal medicines to treat themselves for coronavirus.
Liberia has also been recording surge in its cases, forcing the United Arab Emirates to place travel ban on people traveling from Liberia.
