Tofik Abdul Nasir
Former TV Africa newscaster, Tofik Abdul Nasir, has been adjudged Best Male Newscaster of the Year at the maiden edition of the Ghana Youth Awards (GYA).
The GYA, organised by WCAMF & ARENA Events, is a platform to acknowledge the growth, achievements and leadership skills of exceptional young Ghanaians making significant impact.
The award ceremony was held at the Silver Star Towers in Accra on August 21. A number of exceptional Ghanaian youth who are excelling in their professions were rewarded at the event.
Tofik’s unique style of presenting the news endeared him to the board of the award ceremony and thereby winning his category.
Aside reading the news, he also co-hosted the trending morning show dubbed the Breakfast Live on TV Africa.
Tofik has been in the media landscape for close to a decade and has worked with platforms such as Top FM, Pan African TV, Diaspora Network Television and TV Africa.
