Transitions, the funeral services subsidiary of the Enterprise Group, has upgraded the skills and capacity of its staff to enable them provide better services to their clients.
At a training workshop in Accra, experts from the Funeral Academy for Africa team (FAFA) took staff of Transitions through customer service and sales, with a special session on facial reconstruction.
Staff were also taken through international best practices in funeral administration to enable them to deliver the ultimate in client experience.
Jodene Smith, General Manager of Transitions, said the partnership with FAFA to enhance the capacity of the staff is in line with the Enterprise Group’s mission of providing a desired advantage for all who come into contact with any of its subsidiaries.
Mrs Smith explained that the special session on the facial reconstruction was to ensure that staff were well equipped to retain the beauty of the deceased.
According to her, Transitions is sensitive to the fact that one of the greatest priorities of the bereaved is to see their loved ones looking beautiful during the final farewell.
With the recent training session, the general manager said the morticians team of Transitions now have the skills required to complete facial reconstruction.
This makes Transitions the only funeral services company in Ghana with the ability to reconstruct to international standards, according to Mrs Smith.
While the FAFA is Africa’s leading funeral services training institution, Transitions is the first fully integrated funeral service provider in the country, offering one-stop-shop for all funeral products and services.
