Award-winning Ghanaian playwright, Uncle Ebo Whyte, will be celebrating 10 years of entertaining theatre audiences with plays by his Roverman Productions on September 2018.

The production house officially started staging shows on September 6, 2008 at the National Theatre in Accra and has since become one of the most revered theatre productions in the country.

Its first play was ‘Unhappy Wives, Confused Husbands’, and it opened a new page in the theatre industry in Ghana, becoming its first sold-out show.

Within the last 10 years, Roverman has produced almost 40 plays and consistently wowed its audiences.

“Uncle Ebo Whyte and the Roverman Productions team send our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all for 10 years of awesome experiences,” Uncle Ebo said in a statement.

As part of the 10th anniversary celebrations, Roverman will be organising a series of plays at the National Theatre on September 1, 2, 8 and 9 to entertain theatre lovers.

“It’s a crazy ride with Uncle Ebo Whyte and you can’t miss it,” the statement added.
