Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, has wooed young investors to take advantage of investment opportunities in the Western Region.
The Minister made the call on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at the Nation Building Updates on rebuilding the Ghanaian Economy.
According to the Minister, there were numerous investment opportunities in the Western Region including in the area of agriculture.
He stated that government was increasing the capacity of businesses in the region.
He stated that there was the need to invest in the region because it holds a large portion of Ghana’s natural resources.
According to him, the Region was working hard on improving its tourism potentials.
Our plan was to overthrow central region this year in Tourism, he said.
Currently, the Western Region is number two in terms of tourism, according to him.
