Wisa ‘Sex Organ’ Trial … Prosecution ‘Chases’ Witness

The Accra Domestic Violence and Gender Based court could not continue with the hearing of the case involving popular Ghanaian musician Eugene Ashe, known popularly as Wisa Greid, for allegedly showing his penis to the public during a performance.

This was because when the court sat last Thursday, the prosecutor, Inspector Judith B. Asante, could not bring her next witness for the hearing.

The prosecution told the court presided over by Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku that the investigator was not in court as at the time the case was called because he had gone to the work place of the witness to bring him to court.

The prosecution, however, prayed the court for an adjournment.

Mrs Adjin-Doku indicated that the court would grant the last opportunity to the prosecution to produce witness or else would close their case.

Hearing continues on January 10, 2017.

The ‘Ekiki Mi’ hit singer is standing trial for allegedly showing his manhood during a live performance on December 24, 2015 during the ‘Decemba 2 Rememba’ event at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).

A video of the artiste stripping and rubbing his manhood against his female dancer on stage was put on social media, compelling his management to apologise for what it described as the artiste’s “rash and irresponsible behaviour.”
