Wutah Kobby
Musician, Wutah Kobby, has released official video for his single ‘Set You Free’.
‘Set You Free’ is a reggae tune inspired by ‘Big Dream’, which is Wutah’s biggest reggae song in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
Kobby, in a press statement on Monday, revealed that ‘Set You Free’ video was shot in Houston, Texas, USA, with Samsung Gallaxy S9+ and edited by caxyshackleford concepts.
The song is a single off the singer and songwriter’s new album titled ‘Abokobi’.
The 18-track album which features musicians such as Guru, Medikal, Fameye, Kelvynboy, Kurlsongx, Kwesi Swat, Bena Kay and Comedian Waris was released in April 2021.
It has songs such as ‘Mattress’, ‘Baasomome’, ‘Sunsum Pe’, ‘Ade Dede’, ‘Saara’ and a host of others which are gaining the attention of streaming platforms.
Wutah Kobby became very popular after teaming up with two others to form the group Wutah, to contest in the maiden Nescafe African Revelation, which they placed second.
The group subsequently became famous with just two members and released hit albums such as ‘Anamontuo’, ‘Burning Desire’ and ‘Selfless Bliss’.
However, things didn’t go as expected as group members have decided to go their separate ways and that gave birth to Wutah Kobby.
