Zenith Health Walk Returns With Huge Turnout

Zenith Bank Ghana has organized its annual health walk for its staff, customers and stakeholders within the Accra and Tema areas after three years of suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The six kilometer ‘Zenith Health Walk’ which took place on Saturday, June 17, 202, saw scores of participants walking the principal streets of Accra starting from the Zenith Heights through the Ridge Roundabout, Osu Cemetery, Ebenezer Church, Osu Oxford Street, Danquah Circle, Ring Road, Ako Adjei Interchange, then back to the Zenith Heights amidst songs and lively brass band.

Zenith Bank Ghana Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), Henry C. Onwuzurigbo, together with the participants also engaged in a few minutes of aerobics lead by a fitness trainer followed by socialization with the bank’s customers and stakeholders.

Addressing the gathering after the exercise themed, “Everyone Can Bank with Us,” Mr. Onwuzurigbo applauded participants for coming out in their numbers to support the health initiative of the bank and to help raise awareness about its convenient and secure banking solutions that facilitate everyday financial transactions.

He opined that Zenith Bank is committed to providing a diverse range of products and services that cater to the needs of customers from all walks of life and of all age group.

Mr. Onwuzurigbo expressed his satisfaction with the turnout and stressed the importance of prioritizing health and well-being.

He emphasized Zenith Bank’s dedication to ensuring the health of both customers and staff, stating, “We believe that health is wealth, and at Zenith Bank, we don’t compromise on the health of our customers and staff. This event provided an opportunity for everyone to de-stress and contribute to living a healthy lifestyle. We are thrilled about the massive turnout.”
