Artiste manager, Gideon Owusu who is also known as Peso Goodman has announced plans of hosting a capacity building workshop for new artistes.
The workshop is in line with his vision to ensure that new artistes in the country acquire basic skills in music to enable them to meet the challenges ahead of them.
The 2-day workshop will provide participants with insight and knowledge about how music is created, effective leadership and decision-making process, copyright law, among others.
Date and venue for the workshop according to him will be announced very soon.
“The workshop will expose new artistes to diverse opportunities available to them while gaining a deep insight into the music landscape in Ghana and other countries,” he said.
He noted that the yet to be organized music workshop will help music stakeholders to adopt strategies that will help them to push Ghanaian music to the global market.
It will feature some of the most seasoned music personalities in Ghana who will share ideas, principles and experiences they have acquired within the music circuit over the years.
Topics to be treated at the workshop are rudiments of music production, the show business, artiste and media relations, music distribution, promotion and marketing among others.
