Hadzixevi
GHANAIAN GOSPEL artiste, Hadzixevi David Mawutor, has officially released his deeply moving new project titled ‘Anye Ne Meku’, now available on all major digital streaming platforms.
‘Anye Ne Meku,’ which translates from Ewe as ‘I Should Have Been Dead,’ is a heartfelt and reflective body of work centred on divine preservation, grace, and gratitude.
The project speaks to the reality that life’s many trials could have destroyed us, yet by God’s mercy, we are still here.
Blending Gospel music with vibrant Soukous-inspired rhythms, Hadzixevi delivers spiritually rich lyrics in both English and Ewe, creating a powerful listening experience that is deeply rooted in culture while remaining relatable to a global audience.
“This project is a testimony. There are moments in life where you look back and realise you shouldn’t be alive—but God kept you. ‘Anye Ne Meku’ is my gratitude song and my declaration of faith,” says Hadzixevi.
Based in Ho, Volta Region, Hadzixevi continues to use music as a ministry tool, inspiring listeners to focus on eternal values and trust in God’s unchanging nature. ‘Anye Ne Meku’ stands as an anthem of hope, resilience, and thanksgiving, reminding believers that even when life feels fragile, God remains faithful.
The project is now available on all major digital streaming platforms worldwide.
