Abena Kyei Boakye
TV personality and actress Abena Kyei Boakye was on Sunday unveiled as the brand ambassador for 21st Clinic, one of Ghana’s premier health facilities.
This was during the clinic’s free screening and treatment activity for aged widows and orphans under 18years at the facility’s premises adjacent the Dome Market in Accra.
The amount involved in the deal hasn’t been made public but a source says it’s a juicy amount.
Both parties signed their contract in a short press soirée on Sunday to seal their new relationship.
21st Clinic has been described as a health facility that does not only have some of the best health professionals, but offers access to 21st century technologies and techniques in treatment that can’t be found locally. It also has ten (10) branches across the country.
On Sunday, patrons were taken through therapies including message, and free food was offered to the aged women as part of the activities.
According to Abena, she was inspired to work with the clinic due to its good works in providing excellent healthcare to the vulnerable in society.
“I am grateful because I believe their mission and vision, not just taking money from people but rather rendering services to the people. Most health institutions are interested in taking money but 21st Clinic is much interested in you getting your freedom from diseases or sicknesses,” she told NEWS-ONE.
Abena is a TV host on Kantanka TV’s Fontomfrom morning show and is one of the most relevant personalities of recent years.
She emerged third runner-up in 2011 Ghana’s Most Beautiful beauty pageant after representing the then Brong-Ahafo Region.
She went on to be an entrepreneur, actress, movie producer and now TV host. She hosts the Eno Show as well and is also the CEO of Suzzymens Ventures, Eno Boakyewaa Foundation (NGO) and a procurement manager at Trinity Oil.
