Actress Soraya Mensah’s Zesuza Farm & Catering Service has been adjudged the best catering service at the 2020 Ghana Events Industry Conference Award (GEICA).
It beat other major food brands to win the highly competitive category at the award ceremony which took place at the Unique Floral Event Centre, Burma hills, in Accra on November 5.
An elated Soraya Mensah said on Monday that the award is an encouragement for her team to work extra hard as she commended her team.
“When I took a break from the movie industry, I wasn’t sure about my decision. Living a life as an actress and being a caterer are so different. Being an actress, I was always thinking all about the glam, but being a caterer I really couldn’t be bothered, I would go to the market myself and not care who recognise me or how I looked. The hustle is real… I did all that I wouldn’t have done before just to get to know the business very well and to be able to provide a good service for my clients. So much I want to say. Been through so much. It takes a lot of patience, determination and hard work. You also need to trust God to take control,” she told NEWS-ONE.
