Cassius Mining Clears Air

Cassius Mining Company

The management of Cassius Mining Company has cleared the air on its operations in the Gbane mining area in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region.

The company insisted that none of its directors has been convicted as being claimed.

It conceded that some of the directors were involved in civil cases, but the outcomes had been overturned.

According to the company, there have not been any adverse findings made against its directors.

The company denied reports that it was operating at Gbane, adding that it was awaiting clearance from the Minerals Commission and other regulatory authorities.

Cassius Mining Company stated emphatically that it has only three directors – Anthony Karam, James Arkoudis and Kofi Nti Ofori, who is also the secretary.
