Crime Check Foundation, a nonprofit organisation has supported vulnerable women in Tamale.
At the Tamale North constituency, the Organisation supported over 250 vulnerable women with food items.
The donated items include 250 mini bags of rice and 15 maxi bags of sugar.
The donation is aimed at easing the financial burden for food on the families in this Covid-19 pandemic era.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Crime Check Foundation, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, said the foundation decided to support the needy due to the hardship associated with the Covid-19 preventive measures.
He advised the beneficiaries to adhere to health protocols to ensure that the virus does not spread.
Mr.Kwateng promised to provide the vulnerable women face masks and sanitizers realizing that they are deprived.
Juliana Bawa, on behalf of the Tamale North MP, Alhaji Alhassan Suhuyini who invited the Crime Check Foundation to the constituency thanked them for the gesture.
In a related development , similar donation was made to vulnerable women at the Tamale central constituency.
