Duah-Yentumi Is SIGA New Director-General

The State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) has announced the appointment of Hollistar Duah-Yentumi (Esq.) as its new Ag. Director-General.

A release issued by the corporate affairs division, SIGA, said Ms. Duah-Yentumi until her new role was serving as the General Manager in charge of Operations at SIGA since its inception in 2019, bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record.

 

Her distinguished legal career is marked by her instrumental role as the Executive Secretary of the erstwhile Divestiture Implementation Committee (DIC), where she designed and developed strategies to uncover deserted state-owned assets.

As the Ag. Director-General, Ms. Duah-Yentumi will play a pivotal role in steering SIGA’s strategic direction, overseeing governance frameworks, and championing the authority’s mission to uphold state interests in Specified Entities with the highest standards of integrity.

Ms. Duah-Yentumi expressed her enthusiasm about the new role, stating, “As I take on the role of Ag. Director-General, I am committed to leading with excellence, transparency, and collaborative governance, guiding our Authority to new heights of integrity and innovation.”

Hollistar Duah-Yentumi is a lawyer and a journalist. Hollistar is a graduate of the University of Ghana where she obtained a degree in Law and Political Science, a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL. M.) from the University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law.

A product of the University of Ghana Primary School and Achimota School, Hollistar also holds a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
