Abubakar Abdul Samadu
Reports reaching the news desk of DAILY GUIDE indicate that the gay young man who recently escaped the wrath of the Ebony Community, near Dzorwulu in Accra, has surfaced in Bawku, Upper East Region.
It would be recalled that about two years ago, Abubakar Abdul Samadu, witnessed the death of his gay partner, Kofi Solomon, after the couple was viciously attacked at Ebony.
According to sources, the couple was caught having sex, and since gay relationships are abhorred by the community, the subsequent attack was instantaneous and ferocious.
Kofi’s head was repeatedly slammed against the wall by a certain Azziz ‘Macho’, leader of their assailants, and the young man slumped to the ground and died later.
Abubakar however managed to escape, and went into hiding, until he was found somehow, last week at Bawku by a native of the area who was resident at Ebony at the time the attack on the gay couple occurred.
The Bawku native raised an alarm but for the second time, Abubakar managed to escape yet again.
Following the report that he had been sighted at Bawku, the hunt for the young man has been rekindled after an earlier one was abandoned.
