THE 2019 edition of Miss Ghana Russia has been held, with 22-year-old Peggy Bagonluri Mwinug-ma, emerging as the overall winner.
She has previously been awarded also for Miss Catwalk, Miss Culture and Miss Publicity.
The pageant was organized by the National Union of Ghana Students in Russia during Congress.
Lucille Ama Anyan-Darko emerged Second runner up while Princess Abu-bonsra was adjudged First runner up.
The Miss Ghana Russia beauty pageant; was held on May 3, 2019 in Moscow.
It served as a harbinger for many other beauty contests to be organized both locally and nationally.
Activities of the night, DGN Online gathered, included a talent hunt, runway show, cultural display among a variety of performances.
With this year’s theme being: ‘Becoming: Redefining Beauty,’ the question and answer session focused on the emancipation of women predominantly in the modeling and fashion industry.
Also issues on Education in Russia, current affairs, among others, were discussed.
