IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno
Barely a week after his swearing-in as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has made a major reshuffle within the Police Management Board.
According to him, the changes aimed to ensure effective management and operational control of the Ghana Police Service.
A statement issued on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Director, Public Affairs, Grace Ansah-Akrofi, revealed a total of 31 officers appointed to join the new management board.
Notable among them include COP/Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah as Director-General of Research and Planning. Before the reshuffle, COP Addo-Danquah recently returned to the Police Service after serving as the Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), where she led efforts to combat financial crimes and corruption.
COP/Mr. Paul Manly Awini, who was formerly Director-General of Administration, has been reassigned to head the Service Workshop, Accra, COP/Mr. Daniel Kwame Afriyie, Director-General of Private Security Organisation (PSO), and COP/Dr. Ernest Kwabena Owusu as Director General of Services (SVCS).
COP. Mr. Mohammed Fuseini Suraji, who was formerly occupying the position of Director-General of Police Operations, has been reassigned as Director-General, National Patrol Department.  The Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, Commissioner of Police (COP) Sayibu Pabi Gariba is the Director-General/Technical and COP/Mr. Michael Netia Frempong as Director-General/Finance.
Others include COP/Mr. Asumadu Okyere Darko, Director-General/PPSB, COP/Mr. Iddi Lansah Seidu, Director-General/Welfare, COP/Mrs. Faustina A.K. Andoh-Kwofie, Commandant/GPCSC, Winneba, COP/Mr. Joseph Oklu Gyamera, Director-General/L&P, COP/Mr. Peter Baba Atiniak, Director-General/PID and DCOP/Dr. David Agyeman Adjem, Director-General/ Administration.
Also, DCOP/Mr. Vance Gariba was assigned to Director-General/OPS, DCOP/Mr. Sebastien Atsu Wemegah, Director-General/ICT, DCOP/Ms. Lydia Yaako Donkor, Director-General/CID, DCOP/Mr. Duuti Tuaruka, Regional Commander/AR, DCOP/Mr. Eric Ken Winful, Director-General/NAPD, DCOP/Mr. Gabriel Prince Waabu, Director-General/MTTD and DCOP/Mr. Arhin Kwasi Annor, Director-General/SD.
DCOP/Mr. Frederick Kofi Blagodzi, Director-General/HRD, DCOP/Mr. Frank Abrokwah, Deputy Director-General/CID, DCOP/Mr. Francis Kwame Tsidi, Regional Commander/WNR, DCOP/Mr. Abraham Acquaye, Regional Commander/CNR, DCOP/Mr. Yao Dogbey Tettegah, Regional Commande, ACP/Mr. Wisdom Akorli, Regional Commander/VR, ACP/Mr. Joshua Coppson, Regional Commander/VNR and ACP/Mr. Wisdom Lavoe, Regional Commander/NR.
