Kwabena Kwabena
Singer, Kwabena Kwabena, has reacted to people calling him gay due to his recent fashion style saying, they “have a long way to go.”
The popular musician and ‘Aso’ crooner several months ago got tongues wagging when he shared photos of himself with his toe nails painted and also showing off some female gestures. He has since not only been tagged as gay but had also come under attacks for the photos.
Speaking on Hitz FM on Monday, he denied being gay, indicating he only loves his new-fashion style.
According to him, it was absurd for people to just use a mere photo to determine his sexuality.
“I love everything I am doing with my new style and fashion sense. It’s called Liberation. It’s basically about me finding myself.
“Painting my nails is basically my freedom; my liberation; it’s just for myself. I woke up one morning and decided to paint my nails. I had the habit of chewing my nails. Painting my nails has helped me in controlling that,” he revealed.
Reacting to the gay tag, he said, “People are actually talking about my sexuality from a photo? Wow! We have a long way to go.”
“For any human being, who makes judgement based on a photo, know what the person does in the bedroom, then that person is a supernatural human being and is it not wise. I am sorry,” he added.
Kwabena Kwabena, who has been quiet on the music scene for some time now, remains one of the country’s amazing singers.
He explained his absence from the scene saying he took a long break to work on his ‘Fa Me Saa’ album. Kwabena Yeboah, he indicated, produced about five tracks on the album and DatBeatGod1 produced about four tracks. On Friday, he announced he would be dropping a new single titled, ‘Kwadede’.
