One of Ghana’s highlife musicians, Akwasi Opoku, known in the music scene as Kwaisey Pee, credited with a number of hit songs, will hold his annual concert dubbed “Kwaisey Pee and Friends Live In Concert” at the Gold Coast Bar and Restaurant.
The night of great highlife music is scheduled for Monday, December 26, and it is geared towards reviving the spirit of highlife in an atmosphere of relaxation and networking.
The ‘Mehia Odo’ hitmaker, who recently dropped another Christmas banger titled ‘Ayele’, has promised to thrill fans and guests with most of his hit songs and electrifying stage performance.
The event, which is expected to attract a large number of music personalities as well as stakeholders in the music industry, will witness performances from artistes such as KK Fosu, Fameye, Big Joe Chante, Kumi Guitar and a host of others.
Kwaisey Pee and others stars meeting on one stage are a clear indication that the event would not only be about the music but also a sizzling mix bag of pure entertainment on one stage.
BEATWAVES gathered that Kwaisey Pee has packaged his all-time favourite and enjoyable songs to be performed live for his dedicated fans who have been part of his success stories over the years.
He will thrill fans with songs such as ‘Krokro Me’, ‘Nonfa’, ‘Adene’, ‘Mabre’, ‘Mehia Odo’, ‘Kumipreko’, ‘Ayele’ and a host of others.
The organisers told BEATWAVES that the rich experience of Kwaisey Pee, coupled with his hit songs would be experienced during the show, adding that Ghanaians should come and experience an extraordinary musical performance on December 26.
Tickets are going for GH¢100 single and GH¢180 couple, and available at the Airport Shell, Gold Coast and the gate.
