Coronavirus-related deaths in Nigeria are inching closer to 700.
As of July 9, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that 689 deaths have been recorded.
Confirmed cases have increased to 30,748, after some 499 new cases were recorded on July 9.
About 12,546 persons have been discharged, says the NCDC.
