North Hills International School, an ultra-modern school situated at North Legon in Accra, has held its debut carols night to the delight of parents, teachers and invited guests.
The carols night, dubbed ‘Silver Red Christmas’, which took place at the school’s premises on Friday, December 8 was activities packed — and as usual, themed on Christmas.
The joyous night was hosted by the school’s ambassador, actress Beverly Afaglo, and it commenced with a prayer from Mr Godson Yevuyibor.
Lawyer Joseph B. Ashalley, who was the event’s special guest, delivered a Christmas message which highlighted the importance of Christmas and the joy it brings to all, especially children.
The children of the school, aided by their teachers, held the night together beautifully with various performances, including plays, musicals, cultural, contemporary and ballet dance.
There was an incredible performance from the school’s choir.
The night ended with smiles on the faces of proud parents who captured the thrill provided by their wards on their mobile phones.
North Hills International School runs a British and Ghana Education Service (GES) curricular. It has air conditioners and fans in all classrooms, CCTV in pre-school classrooms and around the campus, well-equipped computer laboratory, air-conditioned school buses, fully-stocked library, swimming pool, lawn tennis court, basketball court and a colourful playground.
