Dr. Patrick Boakye
The ruling NPP has won the parliamentary race in the Obuasi East Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
NPP’s parliamentary candidate, Dr. Patrick Boakye polled 27,583 votes while Samuel Aboagye of the NDC garnered 14,786 votes.
Valid votes were 42,730, with total rejected votes of 361.
