Patapaa, Wendy Shay, Others Gear Up For ‘Pa2pa’ Concert

This year’s edition of the Agona Swedru Akwambo Festival will be climaxed with a musical concert dubbed ‘Pa2Pa Concert’ today at the Swedru Sports Stadium.

It will be headlined by Justice Amoah, popularly known in the music scene as Patapaa, who will use the event to launch his 16-track album.

The Swedru Sports Stadium is expected to be filled with over 15,000 music and festival lovers from all walks of life who will witness the best of Wendy Shay, Kwaw Kese, Kofi Kinataa, Fameye, Fancy Gadam, Article Wan, among others.

They will treat music fans who will attend the event to unforgettable live musical performances.

Patapaa, according to the organisers, is expected to thrill fans with his songs such as ‘One Corner’, ‘Suro Nipa’, ‘My Destiny’, ‘One Perma’, among others.

The Agona Swedru-based artiste has promised residents of Swedru and its environs that he will make this year’s Akwambo celebration a memorable one.

Kwaw Kese, widely respected for his creativity and ability to churn out regular hits, is also expected to deliver his finest performance so far on the stage tonight.

Wendy Shay, whose live musical performance will surely keep the audience spellbound, is expected to rock the stage with songs like ‘Uber Driver’, ‘Bedroom Commando’, ‘Steve Wonder’, ‘Ghana Boys’, among others.

The concert will also serve as a platform for several up-and-coming artistes to prove their worth on stage in the presence of thousands of music lovers.

Akwambo is an annual festival celebrated by the chiefs and people of the Agona Swedru in the Central Region of Ghana. The festival is one of the biggest festivals in Ghana which is attended by over one million people from all walks of life. 

Tickets for the concert are on sale, with the least going for GH¢20.
