Celebrated Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Samini, will be storming the United States of America (USA) to perform at the second edition of the annual Black History Festival (BHF) to be held in the United States of America (USA).

This was made known by the Coordinator of the Black History Festival, Mr. Stephen Selasie Asuo at the media engagement held in Accra on January 31, 2023.

He disclosed that Samini has been billed to perform at the festival, themed “Strengthening US-Africa Ties, Consolidating the Heritage of Africa’s Diaspora”.

“We will be having some of our entertainers from USA and Ghana. We will be having Samini who will be performing alongside some other musicians,” he added.

The Black History Festival which aims to promote cultural integration, diversity, and awareness about the contributions of people of African descent to the globe is scheduled to take place in Columbus, Ohio-USA, from February 15 – 18, 2023.

It is an initiative dedicated to celebrating strong ties between the governments of the United States of America and the African Union member states.

It is expected to host over 10,000 diaspora participants, exhibitors and groups.

Samini is expected to rock the festival alongsidesome selected Ghanaian and Africanacts at the festival, which was launchedon December 16, 2022, at the Africa Trade House in Accra, Ghana.

Credited with several hit songs, Samini is also expected to entertain fans with hit songs such as ‘Linda’, ‘My Own’, ‘Where My Baby Dey’, ‘Master Key’, ‘Body Flame’ and a host of others.

Samini has performed alongside Sean Paul, Akon, Kevin Little, Shaggy, Wayne Wonder, Damian Marley, Bennie Man, Jay-Z, Chaka Demus & Pliers, and Steel Pulse.

He has also received international recognition as well as toured the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada, and the Netherlands.
