Kofi Siaw Sarpong
Kofi Siaw Sarpong has emerged winner of the second edition of GHOne TV’s reality show, ‘The Next TV Star’, on May 22, 2022.
Siaw maintained consistency in his Twi dialect throughout the show, and became an audience favourite from the very beginning, hence winning the enviable title.
The refined Twi broadcaster, on the grand finale held live at the Silicon Production House, Accra, made a fluent and comprehensive presentation on the current hikes in fuel prices, rent rates, and the prices of commodities on the market, and outlined some possible solutions the government should use to reduce the burden of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Siaw, over the weeks had delivered on all aspects of the media; entertainment, business, current affairs, among others. Upon winning the show he gets a thirty-minute weekly show on GHOne TV, a mentorship session with the General Manager, Nana Aba Anamoah, and also, packages from sponsors.
Siaw also received a surprise gift from Ghana’s renowned dancehall king, Shatta Wale, an Infinix hot 12, on stage for displaying great talent on the night.
Berry and Leo came second and third respectively. Both runners-up also get mentorship sessions with Nana Aba Anamoah, and internship opportunities with GHOne TV.
The auditorium also witnessed mind-blowing performances from Mr. Drew, who treated his audience with hit songs like ‘This Year’, ‘Later’, and his latest single ‘Dayana’. Rock star, Kuami Eugene, as usual did what he does best by serving music fans with his hit songs.
Judges on the night were ace broadcaster and General Manager for GHOne TV and Starr FM, Nana Aba Anamoah, radio/television personalities Lexis Bill and Francis Abban, and Shatta Wale.
