Shani Shaibu Alhassan
The Northern Regional Secretary of the NPP, Alhaji Sibidow Alhassan Yakubu, also known as Alhaji SEY, has called on chiefs, religious leaders, youth groups and other stakeholders, to rally behind the newly-appointed Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Shani Shaibu Alhassan, to enable him to expedite development and to further consolidate the prevailing peace in the region.
According to Alhaji Sibidow, the new minister was enthusiastic about doing his best for the region, and therefore having the support of all key stakeholders in the region would be positive for the forward advance of the area.
Speaking to the media after tours to some key chiefs in the region, Alhaji Sibidow also thanked the chiefs for the reception accorded the team when they visited them in their various places, and for their good counsel.
Alhaji Shani Shaibu Alhassan succeeded Salifu Saeed, the former regional minister.
