The National Sports Authority (NSA) has stopped its patronage of the Daily Guide even as the latter’s outstanding debt of GH¢28,134.00 is yet to be sorted out.
The NSA debt accrued from subscription of Daily Guide for last year.
A correspondence from the NSA signed by the Director General, Prof. Peter Twumasi, and copied to the Head, PR Unit and the Chief Accountant of the authority terminates the subscription of the Daily Guide arrangement.
“The management of National Sports Authority (NSA) writes to terminate the contract for supply of newspapers by your noble organisation effective next year January 1, 2022,” the authority stated.
The NSA added that, “The Authority would like to invite your institution, when we are ready, to enter into a new agreement to regulate the process in order to avoid future debts and setback to your organisation and also to streamline the entire supply chain and procedures for services to our Agency.”
