TICAD Opens In Yokohama, Japan

FLASHBACK: Some African leaders and Japanese leaders during the 2013 conference

This year’s Tokyo International Conference on Africa’s Development – TICAD will be hosted by the city of Yokohama in Japan. 

The conference which seeks to bring all African leaders and officials together will see the way forward for the African continent in relations to its economic strides. 

Ghana will be represented by His Excellency the President  Akufo-Addo.

Japan over the years has championed the course of economic independency for the sub Saharan region and has relatively succeeded in that stance.

Issues relating to economy, health, education etc will be major topical issues to be discussed at the conference.
