Toilet Project For Amankyia

The 20-seater toilet project at Amankyia in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality

THE DIFFICULTY that residents of Amankyia, in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality, usually faced in the past in getting access to a suitable place to attend nature’s call, would soon be a thing of the past.

This pleasant news follows the construction of a 20-seater type-B toilet project, which is geared towards making life comfortable for the people, devoid of problems.

The 20-seater type-B project is now 60 per cent completed and barring any last minute hitch, the contractor, M/S Steve Abundant Grace Enterprise, should complete the project by December, 2019.

The Chief Executive of Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Assembly, Mr. Michael Amoah Awuku, played key roles to ensure that the toilet project commenced.

Lack of toilet facility in the community was said to be creating major challenges for the residents, who over the years demanded a toilet facility until the MCE eventually came to their aid.

Mr. Amoah Awuku, whose administration is currently supervising about 38 ongoing development projects, recently embarked on an inspection tour to see how the projects were being constructed.

Speaking with DAILY GUIDE, he expressed satisfaction about the quality of work done so far on the toilet project at Amankyia and expressed hope that the project would be completed right on time.

Mr. Amoah Awuku said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration has the welfare and the development of the people at heart, hence the reason for so many ongoing projects in his municipality.
