Coronavirus deaths in the UK are now around 10,000.
The National Health Service (NHS) made this known.
It says over the last 24 hours, Britain recorded some 917 new deaths.
Among the dead is an 11-year-old, says NHS.
“UK remains on track for worst death toll in Europe. Why?,” it quizzed.
