A total of 54 women and organisations were honoured at theĀ 6th edition of the Women’s Choice Awards for their outstanding contributions to society.

The celebration which took place on Friday, November 1, 2024, was themed, ā€œThe Power of Now,ā€ underscoring the significance of recognising women’s achievements as vital to national development.

The event was graced by a host of notable personalities, including actress Roselyn Ngissah, who took home the prestigious Efua Sutherland Award while Chichi Yakubu, CEO of Nyonyo Essentials, was named the Ultimate Entrepreneur.

Other winners included Precious Bonsu Kodo, who earned accolades for Outstanding Achievement in Education and Early Childhood Development.

Journalist, Michelin Tucker, was celebrated as Journalist of the Year, while Jasmine Djang was recognised as Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Natalia Andoh, was named Media Personality of the Year, while Endurance Grand, claimed the title of Creative Woman of the Year award.

Notably, Rebecca Osam, CEO of Reflo Company Limited, received the Menstrual Hygiene Advocates of the Year award.

Among other distinguished awardees were Erica Mensah, Health Personality of the Year, and the innovative fashion brand Bloombyedzi, who took the Fashion Brand of the Year award.

Lawrencia Pappoe was celebrated as Corporate Woman of the Year, while Ruweida Yakubu-Lamptey took home the Sports Personality of the Year title.

The beauty industry was well represented, with Light Veil MakeupĀ Beauty Studio being awarded Makeup Artist of the Year and Kezia Sanie as Humanitarian of the Year.

Aurelia Attipoe received the Woman in Tech Award, while Sharon Mashishi was honored as Young Achiever of the Year.

Lipstick Queens was celebrated as Team of the Year, and S.E.N.A. Pediatric Therapy received the Agency of Change award.

Love Blassiri Santā€™anaā€™s brand was crowned Beauty Brand of the Year, and Capitol Catering was recognised for Catering Services of the Year among others.

In an interview, Gideon Raji, CEO of Global Ovations, highlighted the importance of celebrating women’s achievements to empower them and acknowledge their vital roles in national development.

He emphasised that this yearā€™s Womenā€™s Choice Awards aim to inspire others to chase their dreams and bolster the confidence and self-worth of industrious women making a difference.
