Bernard Amankwah, one of Ghana’s most sensational gospel music icons, is gearing up for this year’s edition of ‘Celebration of His Grace’ at the National Theatre in September.
The concert has been designed to serve as a gospel musical platform for local gospel artistes to display elements of distinct modern harmonies and singing styles and to reach out to God’s children.
Bernard Amankwah, credited with several hit songs, is, indeed, sure to get the Ghanaian audience to sing along to some of his popular songs such as ‘Presence’, ‘Presence II’, ‘Almighty’, ‘The Glory Has Come’, ‘Holy’, ‘Mercy Rescued Me’, among others.
He disclosed that this year’s event will witness historic performances from a host of other top gospel stars in the country.
In an interview with BEATWAVES, Bernard Amankwah stated that patrons should expect “an experience of a lifetime and will never leave the venue the same.”
In an interview, the organisers explained that the event is being organised to impart in the younger generation an upright way of life with God and also to encourage the youth to use their skills and talents to glorify God.
The inspirational gospel musician has assured his numerous fans of a well-organised and a memorable event that will forever remain fresh in the minds of Ghanaians.
He disclosed that most people would be healed from their wounds, sickness and will be touched by the Holy Spirit, adding, “I challenge anybody who wants to testify the power of God to be there with his or her problems and I promise the person that he or she will never go home the same for the God of prophecy will reach him.”
