The principal elders of the Atowe Family in the Ga Traditional area have petitioned the Ga Manste over the theft and sale of their ancestral lands by some unscrupulous individuals.
As tradition demands, the Atowe Family is mandated to provide the ladle to be used by the Ga Mantse for scooping palmnut soup during the Homowo festival.

Head of family, Nii Ato III, accused Asafoatse Kotey, Nii Tettey Ashong and Daniel Kotey of selling lands belonging to the Atowe Family and the destroying the ancestral graves at Atoman.
Addressing the Ga Mantse at his palace on Tuesday in Accra, Nii Ato III said the aforementioned people do not belong to the Atowe family and cautioned them to stay away from the lands and all properties.

Nii Dzaase, the Dzaasetse of the Ga Paramountcy, was hopeful the problems would be resolved and called for God’s blessings for the Atowe Family.
