This Is Bad, Nana Tells Mahama

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured the people of the North that he does not have any bad intention about them and will not use and dump any competent Northerner who plays an important role in his government.

According to him, he wants President Mahama out of government because he has not been a good leader for the country and not because he is a Northerner.

“Instead of the President uniting the country and bringing all of us together, he is rather inciting people of the North against the tribes in the South. That is not the type of leader Ghanaians want. A good Ghanaian leader tries to bring all the people of the country, irrespective of who they are, or where they find themselves.

“We are all one and the President must desist from that for the sake of the cohesion of our country.  I don’t care about people’s tribes; all I see and care about is people’s commitment to serve the country sincerely in any capacity they find themselves. The President should stop inciting the people of the North against the rest of the country; this is bad and will not help us as a country.”

Nana Addo disclosed this while addressing the supporters and people of the Upper East Region
at a regional rally in Bolgatanga.

President Mahama is only pretending that he does not know what a dam is and also deceiving the people of Ghana that it’s not possible to create dams in communities for farming, he stated.

“We will not stop promising one village, one dam; we will create the enabling environment to encourage farming all year round to create jobs and produce food for the country. If Burkina Faso can farm all year round, why can’t we in the Upper East do same and farm all year round.”

He said the next NPP administration would fully restore the allowances of nurse and teacher trainees, saying if President Kuffuor was able to pay all those allowances and still introduce the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), School Feeding Programme, Capitation Grant to basic schools and many other social good programmes, then the NDC government, which is collapsing all these initiatives, should be voted out for the country to move forward.

“I have come here to plead with you to give the NPP the opportunity to lead this country. I promise you that we will work hard with the money and resources of the country. The country has many resources, but due to bad governance under President John Dramani Mahama, we are suffering and he does not even seem to care about the suffering masses.”

Nana Addo was ushered into Bolgatanga by many party supporters and functionaries amidst drumming and singing.
